With the opening of the customized high-speed rail line from Hong Kong to Zhangjiajie, more and more Hong Kong tourists visit Fenghuang Ancient Town of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture to enjoy the beautiful scenery, take photos, and immerse themselves in the folk charm of the ancient town.
At 8 pm of June 19, 23 Hong Kong tourists who arrived by high-speed railway took photos of themselves in exquisite Miao costumes and the ancient town to capture unforgettable moments, with the backdrop of the Tuojiang River, ancient city walls, and stilted buildings.
Since the opening of the high-speed railway, Fenghuang Ancient Town has attracted tourist groups from Hong Kong with its unique natural and cultural beauty. They stroll in various corners of the ancient town and enjoy the comfortable time.
“Fenghuang Ancient Town is very beautiful. It’s my first time to wear ethnic clothing. And the night lighting is intoxicating. I’m very happy to visit here,” said one tourist from Hong Kong.
“I really like Fenghuang Ancient Town. The local people are very kind. If you haven’t been here before, you must come,” said another Hong Kong tourist.
